Watersports Nomad is the only instructor training program in Vassiliki, Lefkas Greece; the watersports mecca of Europe.
We provide the highest quality instructor training courses for Windsurfing, SUP and Dinghy and Catamaran sailing in the watersports capital of Europe; Vassiliki, Lefkada, Greece 
We train people from relative beginner all the way to certified and competent professional! We also have Fast Track courses for people with experince. This will allow you to get paid to travel the world teaching watersports and living on the beach!

Watersports Nomad pride themselves on having an experienced, approachable instructional team with a large depth of knowledge to help you progress as quick as possible.
Adam Chubbock – Operations Manager
Adam began his watersports career at a very young age. He has taught, managed and competed all over the world in locations such as France, Greece, Turkey, Antigua, Egypt, Necker Island and the UK. Adam has a huge passion for the watersports industry and a lot of experience and knowledge to pass on. Guess how many summers he has done in Vassiliki?

Jake Williams – Program Manager
Having worked on instructor programmes with a number of companies, including Rockley Watersports and UKSA, Jake has returned to Watersports Nomad for another season. He has a lot of knowledge and experience to pass on and is passionate about getting people into the industry.

Richard Catherine – Chief Dinghy Instructor Trainer
A highly experienced sailor and sailing instructor, with over 15 years in the industry. He was born and raised in a coastal town in England, where he developed a love for the ocean and sailing.
Richard’s passion led him to pursue a career that would allow him to sail all over the world, including the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Indian Ocean, and has competed in numerous sailing races and regattas.
He is known for his patient and encouraging teaching style, and his ability to help his students achieve their sailing goals. Richard has taught sailing to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced sailors. When he’s not sailing, Richard enjoys hiking, and football, and spending time with his family. He is a firm believer in the importance of protecting the oceans and marine life, and is actively involved in conservation efforts in his local community.
Scott Mckenzie – Watersports Instructor Trainer
“Hi guys, I’m Scott Mckenzie, I’ve worked in the water sports industry for 7 years now, and I’ve worked in every kind of centre, from huge high quality holiday resorts to small dedicated professional windsurfing centres and everything in between. I’ve travelled extensively over the past 7 years, mostly over Europe and the Caribbean, and have no plans to stop any time soon.

Alex Mclean – Watersports Instructor Trainer
“I grew up racing dinghy’s and first got a taste of windsurfing after going on a Neilson activities holiday. During my weeks holiday I very quickly fell in love with the sport and after seeing how much fun the staff were having I knew that working as an instructor abroad was something I had to do. I made sure to get fully qualified over the next year and ended up working in Corsica for my first season the following summer. Since then I have taken part in and helped organise Student Windsurf Association events across the UK and worked in Vassiliki each year during my university summer holidays, most recently as the beach supervisor for the Neilson resort. Vass is a mega place for all levels, the people you meet here are awesome and the island has some great spots to visit on your days off! This winter I’ve been travelling and working in a bar in the UK. I can’t wait for summer 2023, yamas!

Our relationships
Club Vass is the biggest and the best windsurf school in Europe. We are proud to call this our home for all our windsurf and SUP Instructor Training.
Club Vass is well known for having brand new equipment every year and keeping the beach open until the “Sun drops or the Wind stops!” giving maximum quality time on the water. Our trainees benefit from this as well as the fantastic environment off the water in the social scene. Needless to say many of our graduates stay on and work at Club Vass once qualified for a season or two!

We are privileged to call this out home for all our sailing instructor training courses. Wildwind have a fleet of over 100 boats that we have access to including an unrivalled collection of catamarans which take on the afternoon crossshore winds!

E-Vass is proud to be the first E-foiling centre on the island of Lefkada. Foiling is the latest hype in water sports and E-foiling is coming to the forefront of this as it is so accessible. Feel the thrill of flight, cruise through the still bay of Vasiliki in the morning, experience the joy of chasing dolphins. This is a future element of watersports that is definitely here to stay.
We are also adding Guided E mountain bike rides as part of our 6 week Dinghy and Multihull Instructor course and our 6 week Windsurf and SUP instructor Courses, as well as the 11 Week Beginner to Intermediate Instructor Course and The Ultimate Watersports Instructor Course.

All our students follow the syllabus pass the RYA qualifications in Windsurfing, powerboating, RYA Safeguarding, Dinghy and Multihull sailing,
All our staff are RYA qualified and we have inspections every year to check our operational procedures follow all the highest standards.
