Our Fast-Track Windsurfing Instructor Course is suitable for competent and confident windsurfers, already capable of handling a harness in strong winds. It is an all-inclusive 4-week programme conducted at our Club Vass training facility.

Who is the course for?

Our four-week Fast-Track RYA Windsurfing Instructor Course is designed for confident sailors who are at RYA Intermediate level. You will be able to beach start and sail a shortboard upwind using a harness. An Intermediate sailor who would be well on the way to perfecting the non-planing carve gybe.

This all-inclusive is conducted at our Club Vass training facility. Where you can choose from a selection of over 300 pieces of the latest windsurfing kit, rigged and ready to go. There is lots of time to work on your own sailing and we will coach you to the next level and sign off all certificates achieved during your time with us!

If you don’t quite have these skills or its been a while then do consider joining our Windsurf and SUP Instructor course. That one also includes E-foiling and SUP instructor!

Your Training Schedule

We conduct training over two 3-hour slots, between 10 am and 5 pm, six days per week. There are also two optional weekly fitness training sessions, including mountain biking, circuit training, SUP, swimming, and yoga. Training days conclude at 5 pm with a debriefing. On completion of the debrief, the equipment is available for use by yourself or other students.

On your day off from training on Saturday, you can explore the stunning island of Lefkada and downtown Vassiliki. As the sun goes down, the bars and restaurants of Vassiliki come alive. Of course, there are always the legendary Club Vass and Wildwind BBQs and shows. You cannot miss these!

Accommodation

Choose the Watersports Nomad accommodation option, located in the heart of Vassiliki. You are only a 10-minute walk from our Club Vass training centre, and close to local bars, shops, and restaurants.

Our training programmes have proved so popular that many Watersports Nomad students decide to spend the remainder of the season in Greece rather than return home.

I whole heartedly recommend the windsurf instructor course and absolutely loved my time in Vasiliki. The instructors were really focused on getting our windsurfing up to scratch. I not only went from quite a beginner windsurfer to intermediate going advanced, i also gained my power boat qualification which opened up a whole new world of opportunity. We were definitely taught by the best ! Vass is a social hub full of talented people who all have similar interests and are always keen to help each other. we all gained new life long friends and useful connections in the industry. On the couse, you get 1 day off a week in which we would explore the beautiful island and all its gorgeous sights. 6 weeks of my life that i shall never forget and cherish always!

Had an incredible time on the fast track windsurfing course! I had so much fun on and off the water. Probably the best summer of my life!! Coaches are lovely and scenery is beautiful. I did the fast track windsurfing instructor course as well as work experience after. A great holistic program for watersports instructor training and experiencing Greece - with everything provided from fancy group dinners, nights out, theme parties, and early morning fitness, you get to see everything from sunrise to sunset! In terms of watersports, you have 24/7 access to the kit and so can advance in the sport quickly and easily become the best instructor you can be! They will also set you up with work experience after your training so that you can dive head first into the industry - just an example of how helpful they are throughout the whole course.
