I subscribed for the wingsurf and wingfoil instructor course in Vasiliki to improve my knowledge and skills in wingfoiling. The learning experience has been beyond any expectations!! The content of the course and how it was taught could not be better. I never in my life had such a course which was so well executed and entertaining. The interactive teaching on shore and the coaching on the water were impressive, gripping and very entertaining. Water sessions were regularly recorded to review the skills on video. The vibe among the participants and instructors was amazing. The kit that was available to use was all high quality duotone 2026 gear and the location at the surf hotel could not be better. Adam Chubbock and team: a big thanks!! The only downside is that the course has finished!!

The watersports Nomad 6 week dinghy was an amazing expierence. However, It wasnt just about the on the water action, as the morning and evening socials organised by the team helped diversify the expierence to a point where no day was the same. This really showed how the Nomad team cared equally about us getting the qualifications but also having a great time and making friends for life. Greatest summer of my life!!

I recently took my RYA Powerboat Level 2, I could have taken the course in the UK but decided the nice clear warm water of the Mediterranean wins over the Thames or Medway, the benefit of visiting Vasiliki and taking the course was a good choice. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish, the tutors are very experienced and knowledgeable, the venue could not be better (Vassiliki is a gorgeous place with perfect conditions for windsurfing and wing foiling) and the organisation was spot on. Highly recommend Watersports Nomad courses for anyone but especially great for young people wanting to do something different to the 9-5 and launch a career travelling the world doing an exciting and fulfilling role!

Doing the nomads course has been an amazing decision, everything from the location to the top tier instruction from Ben, Hannah and Connor has made it a fantastic experience. My personal windsurfing level has increased 10-fold, now water-starting and coming round carve gybes in the high wind. The assessment week was also very useful with having Cookie and Chubbsy helping me improve my teaching ability and also personal level in the afternoon. Overall its been a great experience and I would recommend to anyone looking to improve their windsurfing, work in the windsurf world and to meet new people.

I recently completed my RYA Dinghy Instructor course with Watersports Nomad in beautiful Vassiliki - what an amazing place to do a course like this! The course was very well organised, with a great balance of practical sailing, teaching practice and learning the RYA instructional method. The instructors are knowledgeable, approachable and supportive - some students attend with limited sailing ability and others attend with experience, and Watersports Nomads support everyone no matter their sailing background is. I came away with a much better understanding of how the RYA teaches sailing and a real appreciation for the coaching approach behind the qualification. I cannot recommend Watersports Nomads enough for people of any age looking to get in to Wingfoil Instruction. Chubbsy and his team get the balance of individual coaching, instructor training and having fun exactly right and Vass is the perfect location to improve your foiling. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and help you to improve, learn and enjoy it so much more than you would elsewhere, especially multihull. Everyone's friendly and very social able, exploring the island on days off. Would recommend to everyone thinking about doing it! Thank-you!

Joining the nomads course this summer was the best decision I made. It exceeded my expectations in so many aspects. I had a ridiculous amount of fun; the friends I made on the course will be lasting, and we bonded through our lessons and our free time at the nomad house. The classes allowed me to further my windsurf ability and confidence in the sport, I left feeling proud to call my self a windsurfer. The instructors spend so much time with you on and off the water, observing everyone’s strengths and weaknesses to ensure the best coaching tips for every individual. And the location was bliss, I felt super safe, not to mention the wind conditions were great for practicing both light wind techniques in the morning and high wind blasting in the afternoon. With the nomad sessions finishing at 5, it gave me freedom to go back out onto the water and practice alone/ with friends, or chill at the beach bar for a couple drinks. By the time the course was finished and it was time to head home, I already couldn’t wait to come back next summer!

I spent just under 7 weeks in Vassiliki on both the fast track start windsurfing instructor course and then the wing foil instructor courses with Watersports Nomad. Followed by some work experience in on of the hotels lined up by watersports Nomad. This truly is a world class opportunity to get into the world of watersports! The way the run the courses is amazing, it really builds up your confidence not only in your own ability on the water but as an instructor as well. I had only wing foiled a few times before the foiling course and by then end I was able to jibe on the foil and I got my foiling endorsement, due to the excellent tuition provided by the instructors. The instructors are so passionate, you have access to top of the range kit in your free time as well, and the tuition they offer is unbelievable. You will not regret pulling the trigger and joining the course! It can be a bit daunting as you might not know anyone on the course with you, I found I was able to build some fantastic friendships and feel truly part of such a welcoming community. There is something always going on in the nomad house, never a dull moment! Don't miss out on such a fantastic opportunity provided by Watersports Nomad

I did the 4-week Dinghy Instructor course. Vasiliki is an amazing place to hone skills and achieve a qualification. Ricky is a fun and experienced instructor. I had a great time and learnt a lot. ~£700 p/w seems steep. Accommodation and food was not included, and extra expenses were added for social activities. The discount was fairly minimal. Wildwind equipment was great, but towards the end of the season, they like to close up quite early, so equipment can really only be accessed on day off. It would have been nice to use the Club Vass equipment as the windsurf instructor candidates were, however this popular evening activity was not freely accessible for the small number of dinghy candidates on the Nomad course. Overall, I had a brilliant time. I’ll recommend it to friends and family, it’s a very special place to live and learn in.

Over the summer, I completed the watersports nomad 6 week dingy course and I had the time of my life. Vasiliki is a little slice of paradise and is a great place to learn how to sail in the sunshine. Nomads have created such a lovely atmosphere and community, I had the best time sailing, exploring the island and partying with everyone on the course. Chubbsie and the team were super helpful and accommodating, particularly in allowing me to return to complete my multihull assessment in September. I would 100% recommend anyone interested in watersports or even anyone wanting to get into watersports to consider this course.

Many thanks to the Nomad team. My son has just returned from an incredible trip to Vass where he has been doing his windsurf and wingfoil instructor courses. I am not aware of anywhere else in the world where he would have been able to attain this level of training in such a short period of time. Not only are the weather conditions so cooperative that it make learning so comprehensive but the staff are focused and friendly. I can wholeheartedly recommend Watersports Nomad to anyone looking to embark on a career or improve their skills It seems to be an outstanding family developing a real camaraderie.

The instructors we had where super helpful and knowledgeable and the kit available was amazing. This made the assessment week as chilled as possible. Having been to Vasiliki the previous year taking a few windsurf lessons, I saw this group of guys out everyday with a couple of instructors having the time of their lives on what appeared to be a quite intense course learning so many skills and just having fun. On enquiring who they were I was told NOMADS. This was the start of a crazy idea for someone who just wanted to improve windsurfing skills and see this from an instructors perspective. One year on and having just completed a fast track 4 week course I can honestly say this was one of my best experiences I can remember and for someone who is retired all I can say is don't let age be a barrier. The Nomad team are professional, friendly, supportive and were engaged on a personal level throughout. I've had great fun in this 'Living the Dream' location and am now qualified as a windsurf instructor, a first aider and a power boat operator PB2. All I can say is 'what are you waiting for'. This summer I completed the six week windsurf instructor course with 2 weeks work experience at club vass. When I set out to do it I had really high hopes, after speaking to friends that have completed before me I decided that I would do it. That was the best decision I ever made and it succeeded every expectation I had. The windsurfing is phenomenal but what really made it so amazing is that you become such close friends and really get along with everyone. Chubs, Jake, Matt, Connor, Ricky, and PB Tom are all experts in what they do and want everyone to have a good time all the time. As a side note I had completed my windsurf beginner instructor course 2 years ago on a 5 day course, so it wasn’t about the qualifications. It was about making new friends and I now feel confident to speak to anyone, that is something very special which everyone who does the nomad course will gain. Once again if you are thinking about doing the course, do it. As someone who has got my qualifications in both ways this is by far the best way to go about it. There are so many things that you will learn which will help you in all walks of life. It has been a truly amazing experience, and the best time of my life. Thank you

I’ve never seen them so happy, they were busy all day, learning new skills, meeting new people, making new friends, and out every evening doing quizzes, playing sports competitions, dancing - just having so much fun. I did the 6 weeks dinghy instructor course and it was the best summer I’ve had. Everybody is so nice the coaching and teaching is at such a high standard the 6 weeks as really boosted my confidence a lot. It’s so easy to meet new people on the course and plan things for the next summer or school holidays. You create such good connections in the water sports world and especially with nomads reputation there is no better reference to get if you are planning to do a season. It’s in the best possible location for both sailing and windsurfing, it’s a great lifestyle, the instructors and staff are always there to help and create such a good support net and you will make some amazing friends if you come.

I attended the dingy & multi-hull instructor course in May/June 2025 and had an amazing time. I found the course to be well organised and run. I was impressed with the range and standard of the boats that were available for us to use. You couldn’t ask for more from a sailing venue than you get at Vassiliki. The constant, predictable winds and a smooth sea state combined with the high standard of skills and knowledge of the Nomad instructors encourages you to push your skills to the next level. The accommodation is well situated close enough to the main town that you can enjoy all that Vassiliki has to offer without being disturbed by it. If you are after an all encompassing DI course I would highly recommend doing it with Water-sports Nomads.

I sent my son to Watersports Nomad for the 6 week Windsurfing Instructor Course, after a recommendation from a friend. From the beginning, communication with Adam was great. Nothing was any trouble. The whole course structure seemed amazing. Jack said that the atmosphere there during the training days, whether on the water, or off, was very relaxed and encouraging. All the instructors were top class, very friendly, helpful, and supportive, which made learning so much more enjoyable for him. It wasn’t just the six day week of structured training that was provided, but extra activities were available before daily training started, and were totally optional. There were events laid on during the evenings, which seemed to go down very well! Jack said when he got home, that it was the best six weeks of his life! He intends to return next year to do the Intermediate Windsurfing Course. From a parents perspective, it was money very well spent, and I would highly recommend Watersports Nomad. I’d like to thank Adam and the other instructors, for making it such a wonderful experience for Jack.

I did the Nomad fast track windsurf course this summer (2025) and it was an amazing experience. Not only I improved my own windsurfing and instructor skills, but the course is also very fun and social. You will meet a lot of new friends and they are all people who share the same watersport hobby. Windsurfing together, exploring the island together, having dinner together, and a bunch of other things. Also because I’m Dutch it improved my English, which was a big plus for me. And I learnt to speak better in front of people in English. I absolutely loved the course and I would highly recommend it to everyone who likes Watersports, even if you have never done any windsurfing or sailing!

I had such a beautiful time doing work experience through watersports nomads, the fact that they supported me to come back even two years after completing the course to gain some hands on teaching experience was incredible. I learned so much about teaching, I really loved seeing students improve and I gained a lot of confidence. Being on the water everyday in such a beautiful place was amazing. Never has a sailing experience been so wonderful. Cloudless sky's, pebbly beaches and great entertainment. Watersports nomad have access to all of @wildwindsailing top of the range gear on the Dinghy Instructor course. Ex-Olympic class catamarans, top of the range monohulls, paddleboards and a wonderful selection of classes with Healthy Options (extra fee). The Nomad house is a great place to chill out with new friends from your course with lovely hospitality from the owners. (You'll need to either speak Greek or have google translate to communicate with the lovely owners but well worth chatting to them) Adam (Chubbsy) arranges a great time with loads of socials and morning exercise. He also brings in the best instructors and trainers to complete all the courses at really high standard. Shout out to Ricky Nomad for keeping us on the straight and narrow throughout the course.

During the course, I not only learnt some great coaching techniques, but also got to improve my own windsurfing level, and try some new moves! I've recently completed my fast track dinghy + multihull instructor training course and it has truly been the most wonderful 4 weeks of my life. I whole heartedly recommend this course to anyone who is passionate about watersports and wants to improve on their skills or if you're looking for a new interest. All the Nomads, including Chubsy and Ricky, have all been such lovely company and support. I used to have social anxiety which meant for me that I didn't feel confident nor could I remain eye contact with people I'm speaking to. But after this course, I feel like a whole new person who can speak confidently and make great connections with everyone. To be with people who share the same passions is delightful along with knowing these will be friends for life. The location is truly a dream, calm mornings for swimming or SUPs and windy afternoons perfect for improving any skills. It also gives us the chance to enhance our expertise in different conditions along with all sorts of equipment to experiment with. Not to mention some breathtaking action shots and video footage you'll receive from Protography. They do not leave you empty handed but full of extra qualifications including the multihull endorsement you can take part in right after completing your dinghy instructor course which has been approved by the RYA. From training to be a dinghy instructor to having BBQs and partying with the Nomads, most of all doing the thing I love most which is sailing. My experience in Greece was amazing!! Apart from the beautiful conditions and the great social atmosphere, the course was the highlight of my time. I made so many new friends and improved so much on the water as well as on the land. My ability to speak in front of a group in english has improved immensely. Overall 10 out of 10 experience, some of the best instruction in windsurfing I’ve ever had whilst meeting amazing people from across the world. The Nomad course has thought me a lot, not just about being a windsurf instructor and boosting my windsurfing skills but also about how to live. I enjoyed my course a lot and made some good friends along the way. Nomad has truly opened me up to a life that I’d love to follow. I knew I wanted to teach windsurfing since I was young and the Nomad course has definitely got me there. Spending my summer as a Nomad has easily taken the spot of my favorite summer so far. Our 2 kids did the windsurf and Sup course and absolutely loved it. The help & support the guys gave them was amazing, they felt so happy and supported there. They learnt so much and not just the watersports, i couldn't recommend the course enough. They've made incredible memories, made Life long friends and passed there courses with flying colours. What an amazing way to spend the summer with Watersports Nomad. I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people, learning to windsurf (having barely windsurfed before) and exploring Vassiliki. Not only do Watersports Nomad provide excellent teaching they also encourage fun through socials and activities such as morning fitness sessions and weekly team meals. This 6 week course has opened up many opportunities for the future and for that I’m very grateful to the instructors at Watersports Nomad. Watersports Nomad Vassiliki Taught me how to be A teacher as well as enhancing my skills in sailing. It’s also led to the possibility of me working with Wildwind sailing holidays which then I continue to do for the rest of the season due to the qualifications earned at Watersports Nomad Vassiliki. Both my sons did the instructor course with Chubbs the Watersports Nomad team and I can't recommend it enough. Post A'levels and what better way to spend a Summer!!! Learning hard and playing hard - up every day, keeping fit, building skills, working with people and gaining valuable confidence and experiences - oh and enjoying every moment of it. Nomad is probably the best thing which ever happened to our family! That's a strong statement, but you have to have experienced it to understand. Our eldest daughter graduated the Nomad / Flying Fish Sailing Instructor program at Nomad / Wildwind, Vasiliki in 2019. Lara had been sailing in Cayman and the UK since she was 4 years of age, and subsequently in Hong Kong for approximately 5 years of competitive Laser (and 420) sailing. After the 6 week Sailing Instructor course in Vasiliki, her deep love of sailing truly emerged for the first time. Adam Chubbock is the best at managing sailing programs and this was a once in a lifetime experience for Lara. Lara saw sailing for the joy which it provides, after 17 years of sailing. Lara loved the social life at Club Vass and Wildwind, she made great friends. That was the summer which changed her. It made her truly happy, helped her to come into herself and become comfortable in her own skin as a 21 year old. When Lara left Vasiliki, Lara was self confident, became conscious of her health, her body and her lifestyle. Lara looks like a super model now and is on her second masters degree, training to be a behavioral psychologist (ABA) looking after young toddlers. After Covid and graduating university with a dual degree in Fine Arts (Acting) and Film, in New York City, our "Bright Lights, Big City" obsessed, second daughter, Amy, took the first opportunity she could to pursue the Fast Track Windsurf Instructor and SUP course at Nomad, Vasiliki. Amy is already an expert dinghy sailor, RYA sailing instructor, and very competitive, previously ranked in Hong Kong, and sailed for Sherborne School team. Amy is also an RYA Day Skipper for monohulls and catamarans, and an RYA Powerboat instructor already. Amy was keen to jump right in to the 4 week Windsurf Instructor course, which she did with lots of energy, enthusiasm and excitement. Amy loved every minute of being in Vasiliki this last summer. What is not to like? The location is perfect and one of my favorite places on earth. Amy went from an advanced beginner level windsurfer to advanced. Amy now says that windsurfing is the best sport ever, and that she never dreamt she would ever consider this to be true as sailing is what Amy lives and breathes for. At the end of our 6 week stay in Vasiliki (I stay separately nearby because I love it so much), Amy who laughs at me being sentimental about holidays, was distraught to be leaving Nomad and Vasiliki. Amy was balling floods of tears before we got in the taxi for Spiros (Vasiliki's resident taxi driver) to take us to Preveza on the day we flew out of the EU (on day 90 of our EU stay). At one point early in the journey, Amy shouted "stop the taxi". The taxi reluctantly, but decisively came to a halt. Amy jumped out of the taxi to hug her new friends who were rushing down the road to say goodbye one last time. These life long friends with whom she connected, happened because of the Nomad course and the amazing community (and fun on steroids). Life is a journey and that's what I always tell my six (almost fully adult) children when it's tough to move on from paradise and the feeling of security. Vasiliki is my happy place. Nomad is a secure unforgettable experience. Although Yacht Master is next on the agenda, Amy is currently in the south of Thailand taking her PADI Dive Master. It is a grueling training with cold seas during monsoon season but Amy is loving being on her picture perfect tropical island. Amy is with people she met in Vasiliki and sailed with at Sherborne School and everyone seems to have a connection with sailing people they each know. Nomad is one amazing community which slots right in to that world. We will be back for our boost of Chubsey energy next summer. My university-going, sailing instructor, sons will be in Vasiliki to do their Nomad Windsurf instructor course. The pressure is on Chubsey, as our twin girls want to do their Instructor course with Vass friends Zach and Joe. Thank you to all in Vasiliki, you are very special to our family!

My daughter spent 6 weeks this a summer completing her RYA Dinghy Sailing instructor qualification with Watersports Nomad in Vassiliki. It is one of the best things she has done to date. The instructors were excellent. The set up and facilities are great. The sense of team belonging and the opportunity to meet other like minded individuals is fantastic. And Adam who oversees the whole operation, is approachable, inspiring and his attention to detail and communication skills are second to none. His values are evident in every aspect of the Nomad set up, and I felt completely reassured that my daughter would be safe and well looked after. His network is extensive and he is very keen to ensure that the Nomad alumni are professional, well prepared for the responsibility of teaching others, and quite simply the best of the best! I could not recommend Watersports Nomad highly enough!

My son went to Lefkada in June to join a fast track Instructor course in the beautiful bay of Vasilik he was looking forward to going and wasn't disappointed Great course with a fantastic bunch of like minded people and an amazing instructor team. He had a great Summer with Watersports Nomad and met friends for life there. He got a job instructing in Vassiliki for the rest of the season which he absolutely loved. He arrived home a week ago and I can honestly say he was very happy with the course and had a brilliant, memorable Summer. He is already talking about returning to Vasiliki next year! I could not recommend Watersports Nomad highly enough for the excellent tuition, expert coaching and equipment and, of course, the fun organised activities, team meals and nights out together. Absolutely amazing experience!! I cannot recommend Watersports nomad enough. I loved every moment of the 6 week sailing course and rlly wish I could go back and do it all again. Vasiliki is amazing and a great place to master your sailing skills on all types of dinghy’s from monohulls to cats. Adam and Jake are incredibly supportive and are always wanting to help with anything. All the people are amazing and friendly so if you are putting of booking because you don’t know anyone else who will do it with you just do it. Everyone is so friendly and easy to get on with. Thank you very much for such a brilliant experience.

The course goes in depth, not only developing your skills as an instructor but also your own skills as a windsurfer. By the end of the course you’ll have gained the skills and confidence to teach windsurfing to new beginners. Moreover there is also time to have fun and some drinks with the social events that are organised by the team. The group I was in was diverse with personality and the instructors were amazing guiding us through the course. All in all I had a great time doing the course and gained lot’s of new skills, experiences and friends. Definitely recommend it for those who are looking to get into teaching this amazing sport.

I just completed my windsurf instructor training and it was the best 5 weeks ever! I couldn’t recommended this course more to anyone who is passionate about watersports and wants to step up to instructor level, and improve their windsurfing/ sailing ability (by tenfold!). The coaches, Chubsey, Scott and Ricky, are experts in all fields, and some of the best instructors in the game (as well as being the coolest). The idyllic bay of Vasiliki is the perfect place to learn, with calm early mornings, great for swimming and SUPing as part of our fitness training, light wind late mornings to practise coaching techniques, and hopefully windy afternoons for planing skills! At Club Vass and Wildwind, Nomads have access to a very wide range of the best and most up to date kit (hundreds of sails, boards and boats) giving us the ability to get good at using it all in different conditions, find tuning our knowledge of equipment and when to use what kit. The community is arguably the most amazing part of being a nomad! Spending every day around likeminded passionate individuals, of all ages from all over the world, is truly inspiring, and I know that I have made lifelong friends, as well as so many new contacts! From experience, community is everything and vital in the watersports industry 💙 Some more highlights to mention are the access to mountain e-biking, the awesome action shots and video footage you’ll get from Protography and Vassvids, and the numerous extra qualifications they offer, such as SUP instructor, ensuring that you are leaving Nomad as a well-rounded, multi-qualified instructor, and ultimately more hirable. I whole heartedly recommend the windsurf instructor course and absolutely loved my time in Vasiliki. The instructors were really focused on getting our windsurfing up to scratch. I not only went from quite a beginner windsurfer to intermediate going advanced, i also gained my power boat qualification which opened up a whole new world of opportunity. We were definitely taught by the best ! Vass is a social hub full of talented people who all have similar interests and are always keen to help each other. we all gained new life long friends and useful connections in the industry. On the couse, you get 1 day off a week in which we would explore the beautiful island and all its gorgeous sights. 6 weeks of my life that i shall never forget and cherish always!

Had an incredible time on the fast track windsurfing course! I had so much fun on and off the water. The instructors were great with helping me improve both my windsurfing and teaching skills, and the dinners and themed nights out were so fun and I met some great people! Would recommend this beautiful place!

A great holistic program for watersports instructor training and experiencing Greece - with everything provided from fancy group dinners, nights out, theme parties, and early morning fitness, you get to see everything from sunrise to sunset! In terms of watersports, you have 24/7 access to the kit and so can advance in the sport quickly and easily become the best instructor you can be! They will also set you up with work experience after your training so that you can dive head first into the industry - just an example of how helpful they are throughout the whole course.
